All this information helps to build up a picture of the imbalances in your system and come to a diagnosis which will form the basis of your treatment.

Treatment can involve massage, moxibustion (a warming treatment using Chinese herbs), cupping, as well as acupuncture.

Acupuncture needles are very fine, but occasionally they can feel sharp or achy for a few seconds. However, once they are in place, many people feel relaxed and comforted. The needles are left in for 20 minutes as you get the chance to relax through the treatment.
